Lollipop F Returns With "Dance" MV

After setting a brand new image and style with their last album "Four Dimensional Space", Lollipop F is making a big comeback with a new album entitled "Love Love Dance" which is slated to be released on the 20th of October.

And to kick off their return, the group released their first music video for their titular plug "電司" (Dance).

What I love about this song is that it is breaking the limit of pop. Plus, it has an upbeat tempo and a very catchy chorus which makes it easier to sing along with.

The music video was amazing and the steps were great though they are quite like the steps of K-Pop. Maybe try or create new dance steps. But hey, I love those shots were they were kind of in a freeze. It was just crazy!! Also, the car was freaking awesome!!

A great way to start October!! :)

Maria Aragon Releases "Born This Way" MV

Striking whilst the iron is hot, Maria Aragon continues to pave her way towards stardom with the release of her self-titled debut album "Maria Aragon".

And now, she finally releases her first music video for "Born This Way", the song that made her famous.

I love her first version but I must say that this version is much better. It is slower and therefore has more intensity and conveys the message really great.

Also, the music video is amazing with all that drawing effects.

Top Girl, a clothing company in Taiwan just launched its Winter/Fall Collection 2011 recently and guess what?? With S.H.E. as their official ambassador, they were also the one featured in the collection.


Striking a pose were Hebe and Ella wearing a variety of clothes from jackets to sweatshirts making each one a fashion statement.

Too bad, Selina wasn't able to join the photoshoot. Anyways, enjoy the collection! :)

AKB48 open new store in Akihabara

TOKYO — Members of popular idol group AKB48 have opened a brand new AKB48 store in their spiritual home of Akihabara.

Following the success of the official AKB48 store in Harajuku, Mariko Shinoda, 25, Tomomi Itano, 20, Takahashi Minami, 20, Sae Miyazawa, 21, put in an appearance at the opening ceremony of the new AKB48 Cafe & Shop Akihabara on Friday. The new store, designed around the theme of entertainment, includes a movie theater at which ticket holders can watch videos of live AKB48 shows, browse photo collections and DVDs with fellow fans, and even sample the AKB48 themed foods in the cafe. 

For fans in a hurry, the take-away snacks include AKB48 donuts, and the store’s own specialty, the Pie Daifuku in a specially designed AKB48 themed take-out box.The group pushed the idea that visitors to the store might get the chance to meet group members. Itano said they have all scribbled hidden messages throughout the store for fans to find.

After creating a noise for her earth-shaking debut, Jess Lee continues the rage with yet another music video for her song "分隔線" (Separation) which is part of her debut album "Thank You My Love".

I am an avid fan of the song ever since I have heard it weeks ago and up to this day, I still can't get over it. And finally, my wish has been granted... she showcases not only her voice in the music video but also her lovely face.

The song was lovely as ever and the mv was amazing as well.

New Johnny’s group Sexy Zone to debut this fall

Johnny's Jimusho has just announced the debut of a new unit called Sexy Zone, composed of five Johnny's Jr. members averaging 14.2 years old: Nakajima Kento (17), Kikuchi Fuma (16), Sato Shori (14), Matsushima Sou (13), and Yu Marius (11).

The new group was unveiled on Thursday during Kis-My-Ft2’s concert in Tokyo. They performed their debut song, also titled “Sexy Zone,” which will be released as a CD single this fall.

Sexy Zone has also been appointed as the special supporters of this year’s FIVB Volleyball World Cup, which begins in Hiroshima and Nagano on November 4. They will be in charge of the tournament’s image song as well.

The actress sees Kelly Lin’s husband as a benchmark for her future beau

At the opening of Kiki Restaurant's seventh outlet, actress Shu Qi was quizzed by the media on her rumoured relationship with singer Lee Hom.

Ever coy, she replied: "When you guys question him (about the relationship), he stutters. He seems to be stuttering all the time. But, we are just good friends. I will have to take a holiday (if I want to) find a new boyfriend. Lee Hom is really just my good friend".

Speaking on her latest collaboration with Stephen Chow on the film A New Chinese Odyssey, the actress answered with a sweet smile, "He (Stephen Chow) is very romantic. Before we started filming, he asked if I wanted to date him!"

Elaborating on Stephen's guidance while shooting the movie, Shu Qi said "He would personally show me how to act out a scene in the movie when I tell him that I didn't know how to do so. Every time he does it, it's as if I'm seeing the onscreen Stephen Chow coming to life and that cracks me up."

When asked on her requirements of a partner, Shu Qi revealed that she would like to be with someone like good friend, Kelly Lin's husband.

"It would be great to have someone like Kelly's husband. He is nice and caring," she said, before adding that her beau must also be more knowledgeable than her.

The 35-year-old also added that she has yet to visit Kelly, who had given birth to a baby girl in August.

"I will be visiting her (Kelly) at a later date and will give her (the baby girl) a Hello Kitty jewellery then."

Anne Curtis Releases Debut Album "AnneBisyosa"

We’re not talking about a photo album. This is a studio album called “AnneBisyosa” featuring the singer who will give all singers a run for their money.

BY2 to make a comeback on October

They are coming back!! The popular singing twins of Singapore are ready to take the stage once more!

And to add more to that, they will be releasing their new album "90' Now" where they revive the classic retro looks and moves.

I have already heard an audio sampler of their titular plug and I have to say that they have evolved so fast. Their music is really different and they are sticking to a dance genre which is what I love about them because they are trying to expand their musicality and try to be versatile.

Also, I love how they look on the album teaser. They were just so gorgeous and can already be considered as adults.

Anyways, we just have to wait a few more days since the official release will be on October 1. Can't wait for BY2's comeback!!

Father Jen did not speak up for Selina

During a charity event, Father Jen’s attitude took a steep change; he insisted on not talking about his daughter Selina

S.H.E. member Selina Jen will be tying the knot with her fiancé Richard Chang next month. However, the wedding is marred by recent rumours, which said that her future husband attempted to sow discord amongst her group members.

At a charity event yesterday, the media probed Father Jen and Selina's younger sister Kirsten on the rumours. Father Jen told reporters that he is "grateful" and that "nothing's wrong", before entering his tent to avoid the media.

Father Jen's refusal to talk about his daughter was a marked departure from his usual way of speaking up for Selina.

A few days ago, Father Jen, who had to deal with many rumours lately, posted on his microblog, "Getting along with the media takes a lot of talent."

Kirsten, on the other hand, revealed that Selina recently discovered that making paper art can help her fingers recover faster and the starlet had been practicing vigorously, claiming that paper art is now her "new career".

As yesterday's event was held in conjunction with the World Contraception Day, the issue of celebrities getting pregnant before marriage was mentioned.

"I really cannot accept it, Every time I hear news about this, I would remind my daughters that they shouldn't let that happen," Father Jen emphasised.

He also added that he frequently told his daughters that "after you gave birth to your own children, it's your responsibility to take care of them. We will not help you with it," urging them to think carefully before becoming pregnant.

Kim Kyu Jong Releases Debut MV "Yesterday"

Going solo this time, Kim Kyu Jong of SS501 is finally releasing his debut music video as a solo artist for the song "Yesterday" whose album comes out today!!!

No... he is not leaving the band. It was reported that each member will have their own solo album to be released this coming October.

As for Kim Kyu Jong, his solo album "Turn Me On" marks his comeback as a singer for almost one and a half year of break.

The song is great and is quite unique that it steps away from the mediocrity of K-Pop. Also the dance steps in the mv are amazing though there are some that looks awkward. Still, an amazing song. Welcome back!

Cindy Yen to be the next Jolin Tsai?

Singer-songwriter Cindy Yen, who debuted in 2009, will be coming back with her second album, “2 be Different”, on September 29th. For her first single, “Trap”, she has transcended into a dancing singer, which many netizens joked, “Is Jay Chou trying to make Cindy Yen the next Jolin Tsai?” Regardless, her record company, JVR Music, spent over a million TWD to give “Trap” an extravagant MV treatment, recreating a broadway stage. To support the singer, both Kevin Tsai (host of Kang Xi Lai Le) and her manager made special appearances in the MV. It was Kevin’s first time filming a MV, and he expressed he agreed to take part because he wanted to support singer-songwriters. He praised Cindy on her natural sexiness and said that he anticipates Cindy’s development as a singer.

Cindy, who composed the track, expressed her thanks to Kevin and complimented him as a kind and supportive person. During the shooting, Cindy danced in her heels non-stop; she even scraped her thigh without knowing. In order to not impede progress, she quickly treated her wound and continued.

Wei Chen Releases "Goodbye Goodbye" MV

After his successful performance on Korean variety show M!Net Countdown, Wei Chen releases his new music video for "Goodbye Goodbye", a song from his new album "Dawn".

The song is a cover of an original Korean song "Heartsore" by Wheesung.

I love his cover and I must say that he looks like the long lost brother of Kim Hyun Joong with that hair. But to make the song quite unique, he added some rap part to it which he wrote himself. Also, the mv was good although I cannot seem to find a connection with the dance moves and the song itself.

Anyways, still a good song!

Jane Zhang Unveils MV for "Beautiful and Brave" ft. Aida

Releasing her newest music video which is still in part of her album "Reform", Jane Zhang finally shows off her mv for "美丽与勇敢" (Beautiful and Brave) featuring Aida.

The song is a duet with Adia who penned and composed the song and is also the soundtrack for the upcoming movie "李獻計歷險記" (Lee's Adventures) which is based on an animation.

I love the song especially in the intro part which is in piano. Also, the chorus is amazing as well as the music video which shows clips from the film though I have wished that they included some shots with Aida.

I really love the song since it is lively and I would love to dance with it. It is not corny and contains the right amount of everything. Also, I love the music video which shows her dancing and with her in that shiny car, she is definitely hot!!

Hebe Tien: S.H.E’s relationship will never change

While promoting her new album My Love in Shanghai yesterday, Hebe Tien made a clarification expressing that "S.H.E. members' sister-like relationship will never change, "This is just the media's speculation. The relationship among us [S.H.E. members] will never change."

When asked if she will feel awkward when she meets Richard Chang in the future, the singer asked in return, "Why will there be awkwardness when I meet my best friend's family?"

Responding to rumours claiming that their ten-year-friendship was ruined by Richard, Hebe expressed her helplessness and revealed that she and Selina were tickled and cried at this rumour when they discussed about it on the phone, "How could it be reported in this way?"

The status prompted a reply from Hebe, who wrote, "But... Because...", a reply which seems to be filled with helplessness and disappointment.

Apart from that, Selina also posted on her microblog: "Rumours are just like Satan. It has been their usual way to wait for an opportunity to strike and make use of every bit of it; I already put on an iron vest when I stepped into showbiz 10 years go. Do not bully those who love me." Selina posted a picture of a paper art she made, which symbolises that the relationship of all three S.H.E. members are tightly linked to each other.

Piolo Pascual and Jericho Rosales Topbill 'Padre De Pamilya'

Piolo Pascual and Jericho Rosales are slated to star in the upcoming primetime teleserye on ABS-CBN titled “Padre De Pamilya”.

The said teleserye had a working title “Sa Ngalan ng Ama” but it was changed to “Padre De Pamilya” because TV 5 was already launch a quite similar title (Sa Ngalan ng Ina), a mini series starring Nora Aunor.

Also in the cast of Padre De Pamilya are Christopher de Leon, Maricar Reyes, Rafael Rosell, Denise Laurel, Jeffrey Santos and Rey PJ Abellana. Paulo Avelino and Susan Roces are also reportedly in the cast. To be directed by Darnel Villaflor, the director behind the phenomenal family drama series “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin”.

Hebe Tian takes a jab at Selina Jen's fiancé?

The singer was said to have criticised her best pal's fiancé for his alleged wrongdoings

Following reports of alleged unhappiness with Selina Jen's fiancé, Richard Chang, fellow band mate Hebe Tian made another midnight posting on her microblog last night.

Telling fans that she had arrived at her hotel in Shanghai, the singer shared that she was awakened by the sudden flickering of her bedroom lights and added that her toilet lights were also not working.

"The wirings and circuits have "lost control". Fortunately, I have seen lots more stranger and scarier things than this in life," she wrote.

The singer also gave blessings to her fans, "I hope the lights and circuits in your house are nice and obedient."

Hebe's seemingly strange choice of words like "lost control" and "nice and obedient" sparked further speculations that she was taking another potshot at Selina's fiancé, Richard Chang.

Several fans who had read between the lines replied to the post, "Since there are always people who "lost control" appearing in your life, I hope you will be able to block them out with your positivity."

Another fan wrote, "Really that scary, huh?"

When pressed to respond to the issue, the singer's recording company denied allegations of any hidden meanings in her postings, claiming that Hebe was merely describing her frightening experience at the hotel.

Both Hebe and Richard have since refused comments.

Juris Releases "Now That You're Gone" MV

Making a comeback after her debut last year, Juris Fernandez makes another music video and this time, it is for the song "Now That You're Gone", which is also the soundtrack and main theme song of the movie "No Other Woman".

The song is about how someone we love left us just like the main concept of the story. Well, I am really in love with her voice although I could have wished more for the music video.

It just shows some clips from the said movie and sorry to say, but her shots look amateurish.

Anyways, still a good song to hear.

Richard Chang clarifies S.H.E’s discord rumours

The lawyer responded to the rumour, while S.H.E. members Hebe and Ella expressed that their relationship will never change

It was previously reported that S.H.E. member Selina Jen's fiancé Richard Chang attempted to incite disharmony amongst the S.H.E group members by "demanding" for an equal share of endorsement fee and implying that Hebe Tian is using Selina to promote her new song 'You'.

His actions infuriated both Hebe and Ella Chen when they got wind of the news and the duo blasted the lawyer on Facebook with remarks like: "not a man" and "not even comparable to the plaque between teeth".

After the news was reported yesterday, Richard posted a note of clarification on his microblog: "After our marriage was postponed due to [Selina's] injury, I have been trying to keep a low profile. Yet, the members of the media have been reporting [about me]! At the same time there must be people targeting me, eyeing for an opportunity [to stir things up], trying to blow things out of proportion. I have been mentally preparing myself [for this], and imagined all sorts of scenarios, but I have never thought they would use the people close to me for an attack."

According to the lawyer, this "story" is a personal attack to him and he will look into it before making further comments.

Meanwhile, Hebe and Ella, who were busy filming a commercial yesterday, both expressed that S.H.E.'s relationship will never change. Hebe also added that Richard was moved by her new song and did not express any dissatisfaction with it.

Responding to the rumour, a spokesperson from HIM International expressed, "Selina really likes the song 'You'. The message might have been passed on from a third person and resulted in this misunderstanding."

They are set! After the audio teaser, now Spongecola gives us a sneak peak to their much awaited music video for "Kay Tagal Kitang Hinintay" (Have Long Been Waiting For You) which is included in their new album "Araw Oras Tagpuan" (Day Time Place).

I really love the concept for this one which is quite the dramatic love story beneath the seashore. And the song was just so lovely. It was amazing by itself.

The music video will be released on October 1, 2011 on MYX so we have to wait a few more days.

"Live With Fashion" Trailer Starring Vic Zhou and Vivian Hsu

Going for a role of a harsh editor, Vic Zhou embarks on another journey through his new movie "與時尚同居 " (Live With Fashion) with an English title of "Sleepless Fashion".

Together with Vivian Hsu, the movie is expected to be released sooner. Also, the movie was directed by Yin Lichuan.

Though I can barely understand the trailer, I think it is a good movie and I am so excited about it! Fashion fashion fashion... this a movie that will definitely make everyone a designer. :)

Will Pan receives Golden Bell nomination: “I don’t believe it!”

As reported previously, Will Pan received a nomination for his role in “Endless Love”. His manager, Yellow, immediately called to congratulate him, but he couldn’t believe it and said, “You’re joking, right?” Yellow reassured him, “I’m not joking, you really got nominated.” Good friend June Tsai, who had the honor to announce the nominees, also texted him right away to deliver the good news.

On the verge of tears, Will, who turned 30 on August 6th, expressed that he was very happy to be able to take part in both “Golden” Awards before and after his birthday - Will performed at the Golden Melody Awards and is now nominated for Golden Bell. Will further said, “Getting nominated for Golden Bell is already a great recognition for my acting. Whether I win or not, it’s not important.”

Thinking back to when he filmed “Endless Love”, Will commented, “Because the drama was rather sad, after it ended, I was in a pretty sad mood.” He thanked producer Angie Chai and Director Lin He-Long and also congratulated Director Lin for his nomination. He laughed, “It was worth getting scolded by him (director)!”

Yellow revealed that after filming “Endless Love”, there had been many drama offers for Will, including the leading role to SETTV’s “Love You”, which is also nominated for Golden Bell. Will didn’t accept the offer as he felt that he needed to be careful in taking new roles and avoid doing things that he has no confidence in.

The Golden Bell Awards ceremony will be held on October 21st. However, Will is already scheduled for a performance in the mainland. Since he really wants to attend the show, he will try his best to rearrange his schedule, “I can finally understanding the feeling of how people say ‘getting nominated means you’ve won already’.” Will expressed that he was not good in academics, and after becoming a singer, he hasn’t gotten many awards, so he feels very happy about getting nominated for best actor this time.

Will will be returning to Taiwan by end of September. He will be busy with filming commercials and preparing for his new album, which is estimated to be released early next year.
