Did you know that superstar Wang Lee Hom didn't learn Chinese until he was 18. He was born and raised in Rochester, New York and studied in Jefferson Road Elementary School, Pittsford Middle School, and Pittsford Sutherland High School in Pittsford, New York.


He was visiting his relatives in Taiwan by summer of 1995 where he was offered a recording contract. And that was the time he started studying Mandarin Chinese.
