Jess Lee Releases "Suffering" MV

Debuting with a new album, Jess Lee kick off her career with the release of her first ever music video.

The song "煎熬" (Suffering) is a very great song and probably one of the most painful song I have ever heard. It was just so soulful and dramatic.

Contrary to the song, the music video was very drastic and courageous. It conveys the battle of a girl fighting over the memory of being a rape victim, of how she copes with it.

I find it really interesting and bold and it really showed the reality of life. Also, I applaud Jennifer Chu for being such a great actress here. Caution though because there are scenes that are quite not good, gross and has some explicit content although it is what we call "reality".

A brave one.
