It seems that the two reigning "Queens of Mandopop" are taking their duel out of stage and into the business world.
Singaporean singer Stefanie Sun is next to jump on the celebrity fashion business bandwagon.
She recently opened a fashion store in Shanghai, following good friend Jolin Tsai's foray into the world of fashion.
While Jolin's fashion label carries sexier clothes, Stefanie has opted to go for more elegant clothing styles.
The singer, who has been on a five-year hiatus from the music scene, even took on the role of designer, personally designing dresses and skirts for her own label.
On being compared to Jolin's label, Stefanie replied, "It's good that there's a comparison. We all are working hard to make our stuff good. I'm on close terms with Jolin and a little comparison would only help to spur us on to improve together."
The busy pop star is not having an easy time though.
With an album slated for release end of this year and a new business to toil over, the 32-year-old admitted to feeling the pressure.
"Stress is a must...because I wish for my works to be good. I also hope that everyone would like it, hence the pressure is high," said Stefanie.
