U-KISS to release new album in September

SEOUL: K-pop boyband U-KISS will be launching its second full-length album "Neverland" on September 8, which is good news for fans as there'll be more stage acts for the boys as they embark on a series of promotional activities for the new album.

The band created buzz recently when its new song from the "Neverland" album, released online on its official website in August, sent servers crashing after a large number of its fans rushed to the site to access the song.

The band's agency NH Media said U-KISS would be the only male group that would be promoting its new album in September. The group's last full length album "Only One" was released in February last year.

Debuted in 2008, the seven-member band saw its popularity rise following the success of its breakout song "Man Man Ha Ni".

Meanwhile, popular girl groups like KARA, SNSD (Girls' Generation) and Brown Eyed Girls are also scheduling comebacks.

SNSD's album - its first in nearly a year and eight months – is expected to sweep the major charts, and some music labels are reportedly delaying releases and debuts to avoid head-on competition.
