Lollipop Returns With A Brand New Image, Name And Style

Gold Typhoon’s 2010 heavyweight newcomer “Lollipop F” will release their brand new album this November! The 4 members of Lollipop F (Owodog, Fabien, William and A-wei) have undergone intense training since April in order to return with a completely new image unlike anything from the past. During this period, their record company was still receiving endless offers for endorsements, as well as group and solo performances. The four members especially took a break from training to be the ambassadors for Eden Welfare Foundation’s “Yes, I Can Love Trendy T-shirt” campaign. They were also “appointed” as “Jeju tourism goodwill ambassadors”, and recently went there for 6 days/5 nights to film a commercial promoting the scenic Jeju Island!

In related news, former Lollipop member LilJay also visited Korea recently following his concert with Prince in Hong Kong. He was there for a 5-day vacation and said the local spicy soups were burning up his stomach. Meanwhile, Prince appeared in the first two episodes of Gloomy Salad Days along with his brother Modi.

LOLLIPOP F had their contract signing and album release press conference at 2pm on 21 October at Taipei's Westin Hotel, and it was streamed live on Sina. Their Gold-Typhoon labelmate and senior, Asian Dancing King Show Luo, showed up to present them with special gifts. He said that leader Owodog's gift, a fedora hat, represents his hope for him to be equipped with both outer and inner beauty, become wiser, keep his appearance in best shape all the time, and have a more matured mindset. As for Fabien's tie, it symbolizes using his rocker charisma to hold on to fans' hearts tightly. Awei's belt represents continuing to keep his physical fitness in tip-top shape, and William's cologne means for William to become more and more matured and exude the scent of a confident man, as well as getting rid of the chicken cutlet smell on him! (William opened a chicken cutlet shop in Taichung a few months back.)

The four members of LOLLIPOP F had been practising intensively for 100 days since April, and on top of that, had an extra 200 days of special training to enhance their performance skill, and the results on the press conference amazed the audience.

During the 200 days of special training, each member of LOLLIPOP F had been actively participating in separate and group performances, and had taken up countless endorsements, earning their company NT$10 million. Gold-Typhoon thus held a grand contract signing ceremony, and had it streamed live on the Internet via Sina, officially announcing to the Taiwanese media and the rest of the world that Owodog, Awei, Fabien and William are embarking on a brand new collaboration with Gold-Typhoon.

Due to typhoon Megi, LOLLIPOP F's 23 October pre-order autograph sessions in Taichung and Hsin-chu have been cancelled and will be held at a later date. As for 24 October's pre-order autograph session in Taipei, Gold-Typhoon will announce on their official website if it will still take place.
